The material is carefully wrapped (or double wrapped) to ensure it isn't scratched. The lamp is of great quality. The globes are wrapped inside 2 layers of bubble wrap, inside a box, protected inside of a second box. If customers have stated that the globes were broken on arrival, I suspect that their delivery drivers are big soccer fans as there is no way the globes could be broken.
