As I watched my 3.5 year old granddaughter work on the letters she knew how to use the toy. It was easy for her to understand. She did well with the toy so it is great for learning but these are all capital letters and numbers on the back. I wish it came with lower case letters on the back side and another board with numbers 1-10 on one side and 10-20 on the back.
