Love this stand!! Not only is it pretty to look at with the rose gold color, but the sturdiness of the stand is phenomenal! This is a high quality product for a great price folks! It came by itself in a small, clean box & was wrapped in bubble wrap. There are high quality silicone or rubber pads on the top, bottom, & on top of both curved hooks that hold the phone; equaling 8 pads in total. Those pads plus the weight of the stand are a perfect combo; they keep it from scratching the phone & from accidental slip n'slides which would otherwise end up in a minor catastrophe. I needed a heavier stand because I fumble a lot. My poor cellphone goes flying whilst I'm fumbling all over the place to catch it; usually ends up 8ft away under my bed or under my car seats LOL Don't have to worry about that anymore!! Can take this stand anywhere I go!! Hmm, how to describe the weight??? Oh!,,,, If I wanted to, I could place it on top the center console in my car & it would stay put whilst I drove. The phone would stay put too unless I took some fast, sharp turns. I am incredibly happy with this purchase & will be buying more for the family! The only drawback is that it's heavier than most stands I've had thus far, which is a plus for me, but may not agree with someone who has a tiny purse or wallet. Other than that, it's perfect. The unit is heavier and sturdier than I expected and the hinges are a bit stiff - which is a good thing. I don't see this unit's hinges getting loose and having to worry about it needing to constantly be readjusted. The anti-slid grips are also strong. The unit does a good job staying in place on a steep incline, but realistically I just like that they protect my countertops which are easily scratched.My main use for this has been at the office where I set it at just the right place so when I need to use FaceID on my iPhone to authenticate with Microsoft 365 (which is constantly) I just have to look over at the phone and tap the screen to wake it up. It's also worked well with being able to FaceTime my wife and twin toddlers while I'm working so I don't have to stop what I'm doing if we're just going to chat, whereas before I had to stop and put down what I was working on to hold my phone, or she had to stare at the ceiling (likely equally interesting).

I imagine it will hold its shape and chosen angles for many years to come. Even the weight of a tablet is absolutely no problem. However, the stand will only support tablets in a more vertical position, simply because there is not a tall backing to keep tablets from falling backward. It is made for Cellphones after all, I was just curious if it'd work for larger devices... And it can.

It's heavy enough (6.4 oz.) and with tight enough hinges to stay where I put it, and it's fully adjustable to different heights and angles. It has rubber in all the important places: on the bottom and back of where the phone sits so it won't get scratched, and on all 4 bottom corners so it won't scratch the desk. It folds flat to about 3/4 inches thick, so it could easily be thrown in a bag to take along. I put it in a position I like and leave it there, so I can't speak to the durability of the hinges if you're constantly folding and unfolding it, but after just sitting on my desk for about 6 months the hinges really stay put.
