While the accuracy definitely varies a little bit, it certainly does the trick. Helps teach them to watch for balls and strikes as well instead of just swinging at everything. I use a piece of patio blocking underneath it for stability on the grass. I don't recommend using it on windy days as the wind will definitely catch your balls and send them sailing in the wrong direction, haha. I'd buy this again and again. I even have fun hitting with it. Great purchase. Highly recommend if your kiddos are looking for some extra batting practice at home.

We use a rubber home plate so my grandsons know where to stand.We have used it lots of times these past 7 pandemic months and it still operates fine. Batteries are lasting too.The only warning I have is... unless you use this on a large open field, expect to buy lots more balls. They will disappear quickly into trees, bushes and neighbors' yards.
