This is a buzzer sounding warning and not at all like a normal bike bell. It will however get some ones attention and that is what it is for. We like them on our bikes. I would buy again.

The bell is easy to install and operate. It can be a bit loud, and a volume control would be nice, but for the price, I know there is limited capability. Delivered promptly

Great gadget. Loud and effective. Start with the horn sound, makes people laugh when you pass them, then when there are too many to avoid collision step it up to whistle and they'll zoom out of the way! Easy activation, you barely touch the button and the little speaker screams like a banshee!

Wow! This little bell is loud. I opened it, strapped it on my bike and was able to use it immediately.If anything goes wrong, I'll update my review, but on day 1, this thing is impressive.

After going through three tinny sounding bells for my new bike that did nothing to get the attention of a pedestrian or driver I decided to purchase this electric bell and wasn't at all disappointed. It installs in seconds with the attached silicon strap. I keep the speaker pointed down so that the button can easily be pressed with my thumb pad without even lifting or lightening my grip on the handlebar. Just make sure that the spot where you mount the bell is clean and dry so that the silicon strap can grip securely. Of the three sound options, the whistle works best for me. It sounds like a police whistle that gets an almost automatic "heads up" instant response when heard.Another plus is the replaceable batteries. I noticed that some similar items have a rechargeable battery. I'm not a big fan of the rechargeables since after each charge they tend to hold less and less of a charge as the batteries age and you end up having to purchase a whole new unit. The CR 2032 replacement that this unit uses can be purchased at Amazon for as little as 30 cents a piece and they last for months.

I love that there are three completely different sound options, and it's so easy to install and use. I have used it on several bike rides, where it has helped me to alert pedestrians that I was trying to pass on the bike trail. I also think this would also make a great device for when you are walking in an unsafe area, it could be used as an alert (especially the whistle sound, which is pretty loud).

It is a tiny loud speaker. It has 3 different tones. Game whistle, bicycle horn, and space sound. You can definitely hear it from far away. It has rubber strap to attach to your hand bar. Easy to touch/push button to sound the device. You can cycle through different tones. The only minus is the battery is not replaceable. When it is done, you will need to buy a new one. But with the low cost, I will just buy another instead of figuring out how to replace the battery.

I didn't want anything too loud. I'm good (sometimes). I had to order another one of these, The first one never arrived (until way way late, our local post office has severe problems). The customer service was very nice about not charging me twice. That's why I give them 5 stars.
