Because really who braces themselves by the window shield area. No one! Just saying Jeep manufacturing in case you happen to read this. Anyways, my husband went on a search to find something that could go in the right spot. (On the top of the inside of the door frame, like these roll bar grab handles.) We have been very happy with the purchase. They are very well made. My husband says how much that he loves them and glad we purchased them. So if you are in doubt of buying these. Don't be, they really are great. Very sturdy. We highly recommend this product.
