This sounds so cliche but this is literally everything I always wished for in aquarium equipment. I can't believe the price. This is so worth it. It has made my life way easier. I love that the aquarium I had to put in front of the window will be easier to clean bc it comes with a cleaning brush. Instead of scraping the inside just for it all to settle or be pulled up and clog the filter and shorten the life of the powered and increase the number of mesh changes I can use this thing and such it away as I go. The suction power is awesome. I love I can set it up in a bucket and it will pump for me while I do other things. No need to worry about water getting into the battery compartment.

I have been struggling with water change for my 37-gallon goldfish tank for a long time, especially in the winter time. I don't have any problem getting the water out of my tank as a simple siphon and a long tube would do the work. But to get the water in, I used the garden hose from the front yard as it is close to the goldfish aquarium that is sitting in the living room. However, it is difficult to do this in winter time as it is cold in Arkansas from Dec to Feb, even Arkansas is located south. The water from the front yard garden hose is cold. It is not good to let the goldfish encounter the cold water directly. I had to put the goldfish into the other 5-gallon tank, and then do the water change. When the water temperature is heated up, I put the goldfish back to the big tank again which is a pain in the winter time.

The item came in a box that shows what’s inside so if you want to be discreet make sure you mark that when you’re placing your order. Everything came packaged individually in its own baggies neatly and securely packed up. I saw another review state that the instructions weren't in English although they instructions ARE in English, but based on the words, it is a little confusing to set up and put together initially. the best advice I can give is to just look at the pictures of the layout of the vacuum. that will show you which parts go were. it is pretty simple after you understand how it should look and work, but the instructions arent helpful.

I like the ac power no batteries! I was amazed that cleaning the side walls with the brush eliminated the pain of using a scrubbing pad. I used the brush on my log decorations as well works great. Easy to switch to scoop nozzle to get larger messes on the floor of the tank. Great quality, not flimsy, and great price. Don't forget to buy extra bags.

It was a rough start with this siphon cleaner. The teeny assembly diagrams with no text identifying parts or explaining how things fit together ticked me off considerably. Then I remembered I was an idiotic male who never reads the instructions anyway. I dumped the parts out of the bag and did it my way. If one end doesn't fit just try the other. (I bet the reviewer with what he/she thinks is a mismatched part is trying to follow these teeny diagrams and probably just needs to turn the part around and try the other end.) In the end it looked like it looks in the picture and worked like a charm. I like it so much that I used the suction cups to plant it in the aquarium like some sort of robotic tree. Nice touch. The fish like it; I like it. Everybody's very happy. I have to mention one last thing to pull a potential purchaser off the fence: supreme suction power, as strong as it gets. Yay! Good purchase on my part!

I have a 10 gallon tank that I am not very good at keeping clean. As a result, I end up having to remove the water and clean it 100% every few months. I've bought this device with the expectation that it will help me keep the tank clean for a larger period of time.

First I have to say this is really multifunctional. I have a big tank but not too deep just wide and like 200Gal. And I do have a lot of blood parrots fish and two dragon fish.they have a lot of excrement and I can’t clean that so clean. So I heard about this kind of vacuum stuff. And I tried it’s reall reall good to use !! Very clean and easy to fix it. That’s perfect for me. And they also have a lot of different features but I need try that later. At least the vacuum function is great! Recommend it if you want something can clean your tank.

every time the fish tank to change water will take a long time, with this product saved me a lot of time, but also clean up very much.also equipped come with a lot of accessories,I think this Vacuum Electric Gravel Cleaner is better than my old hand pump siphon,So I am going to adapt it.the attachments work well to vacuum through the small pebble bottom of my turtle tank which has an under gravel filter. All clogged quickly with the smaller stones probably because of the very good suction.I am going to continue to work with it for a few times,Did a great job on my tank and the Instructions in the box are in Chinese,but they send me an english Version by email to instruct me how to install and use it.

This handy dandy little device comes in a single box with all the components in it. The pole has several sections making it ideal for doing deep tanks as well as shallow ones. The catch is the pump must remain under water while in use. Do not pull out of water before turning off the suction via the off and on switch, or it could burn out the motor on it. It cleans the bottom of the tank with both a gravel sifter or vacuum head and can be mounted in the tank as a filtration system with the use of the small bag included and instructions also included. I use it to clean my small guppy tank and our larger grow out tank for Angel Fish babies which we sell. I wanted something to make water changes and clean up much less of a chore since we currently have several tanks with different kinds of breeding fish in them and this does the trick. Love being able to hang the hose into a 5 gallon bucket and fill it with the old water as well as using it to pump fresh water back into the tank from a bucket of fresh water. If you have ever had to change more than a few gallons you know what a pain it is to try and use the hand tool to do that. First you either squeeze the bulb or suck or try the gravity game of catching enough water in the hose to get the suction started. This tool removes that chore and makes changing water as easy as assembling this (we keep it non assembled while being stored to save room) put the device in the water, plug it up turn it on and start cleaning. I am also wary of catching fish while changing water, unsure if this has some kind of vibration but the fish avoid it while cleaning is being done, where as my husband has caught several of our fish while cleaning with the old fashioned method of hose and suction. I would recommend this to anyone who dreads doing water changes due to the previous mentioned issues. We currently have a full load in our grow out tank and water changes are a must to keep both the tank sanity and the babies growing up in it healthy. Love the fact it can be mounted in the tank and used as an ongoing filtration I just prefer to be more hands on with our babies and Angels are highly intelligent fish that are very interactive so cleaning their tank is something I now look forward to.

I had a manual pump before that used suction pressure to suck out all the water. But It always ended up messy with water on the floor. Not to mention when water level gets low enough, you always accidentally break the suction and stop the flow. The nuisance has certainly yielded me from cleaning tank more often. Most of the time I just took out half tank then top off with fresh water. This water pump certainly takes much of those hassle out of water changes. It eliminates spilled and dripping water on my carpet and floors. The best thing is I don't need to shovel gravels out to clean the bottom of the tank. The built in feature of the vacuum can pick up all the wastes hiding in the gravels without going through removing and refill. Should have got this earlier. The fish enjoy clean water and this allows me to complete water changes so quickly when I see numbers I don't like. It does the job I need it to,very effective.
