This exhaust fan does do a pretty good job of lowering the temp inside your vehicle. It does this by circulating (sucking-it is an exhaust fan) the hot air out, but several things either annoy me, or could have been done better: You can't roll your window up too high or you'll separate the solar panel from the unit, it only snaps on and there isn't enough clearance from the window hooks. The selection button (single push button) isn't exactly easy to understand, it has 3 modes-off, battery, solar. The supplied batteries are only 800 mAh, so if you want it to run several days on battery (the unit does charge then (slowly) then buy some 2000+ mAh batteries. It only displays temperature in Celsius, if you want Fahrenheit you'll have to convert it yourself ((C° * 1.8) + 32=F°
While it does have its caveats, it does seem to work pretty good. I have to go to my truck every break and at lunch to smoke, and I can definitely tell a difference when I don't use it, I haven't gotten into a 140°F truck all week. While it only replaces the hot air inside your vehicle with outside air, it's a good purchase.

Great difference in car temp. I live in LV NV and leaving the car out in the parking lot makes it unbearable to enter the car without tints. Now is much bearable and the air conditioner doesn’t have to work as hard. Turns on automatically when sun hits solar. Worth the price.
Cons: when on freeway you can hear the noise and drag but minor. Will remove item when it gets cooler and use it agin before the next summer.

I truly was skeptical on whether this would work but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I live in Miami Florida and my truck is parked in the hot sun all day. I once put a thermostat just to see how hot it truly gets and it was off the charts passed 120 degrees. I purchased the MASO Solar Powered Car Exhaust Fan and the difference is truly noticeable. I also decided to use a windshield sunshade and I'm sure that has helped as well. It is still hot when you first go inside but it's as if the truck has only been parked in the hot sun for a few minutes. Once I turn on the ac it cools right away. This was not the case before installing the fan. It also got rid of the smell of rubber fumes from the rubber floor mats. There are only 2 negative things I would say about this product, first, the instructions. They are not well written but you can still figure it out. The other is the fact that if you want to roll down the window you need to take off the fan. But, if you don't need to roll down the window, you're good to go.
