We had a squirrel with designs on the small attic space above one of our dormer windows, a space we can't access but pesky squirrels can. It was scratching around in there and driving us nuts. No amount of banging on the ceiling would drive the rodent away. I needed some way to get/keep the squirrel out while I gathered supplies to close off access points, and this gadget really did the trick. I put it up on the roof near one of the squirrels entry points and then waited. About 15 minutes later it was suspiciously quiet up there so I went back up on the roof to check and there was a pissed off squirrel at the peak of the roof, chattering its annoying little head off and glaring at me. It never came back, I sealed up the access points with hardware cloth, and that's all she wrote. I don't know if it was the randomly flashing light or the ultrasonic sounds but something about this device really bothered that squirrel, and for that I say "Thank you!"

So far so good! We have a lot of trees and at least 4 squirrel nests in view, nest that were lined with the stuffing from my patio furniture cushions. We have tried everything to get rid of these little bastards and nothing worked. Sprays, fake owl, trapping (which we did trap over 30 and relocated them to a nice park in another town) but when a neighbors dog spent the night in our trap, we quit putting them out. I googled how to get rid of squirrels and read that the ultrasonic method had good results. I've been using it now for a couple weeks and haven't had any new wholes in my cushions. We still have squirrels but they are not coming near my deck where I placed this device. Our deck is covered so the device stays dry. Oh, and it does't bother my dog.

My wife and I have a completely off grid cabin - nestled deep in the woods. With no electricity, plug in models are just not an option. Since moving into our new house last week, we've had constant commotion from squirrels in the attic, right above my office! We're not able to get anyone to come out until next week and the constant thudding, scratching, squirrel lovemaking noises, chatter and chewing was making me insane!!! Most amazing thing I have ever bought. Moved into a apartment that had been vacant for months and it was full of rodents and roaches. I put down poison blocks and sprayed roach spray but nothing work. The rats migrated into the bathroom wall from the kitchen. They would eat poison but never die. I bought this an turned it on pet friendly mode while my family was in the house and then on the highest mode when we left for the day. Within one week I saw no more droppings or evidence of rats or roaches! Best thing to purchase for a pest free home

We had a problem with squirrels in the walls and mice in the garage. We put two in the garage set at high, haven't seen any since. Put one right by the wall the squirrels are in but had to put that on pet setting as we have a cat. Left it there for a week and haven't heard them anymore! Yeah! Moved it to the other side of the house to the spare bedroom. No critters there! I would super recommend this to get rid of unwanted critters.

We should have purchased this years ago! We occasionally get a squirrel in the attic. My husband has to put a live trap in the attic, retrieve it, and let the little critter go. Soon enough, a squirrel would return. I've had countless, sleepless nights after the dog wakes me up growling at the sounds in the ceiling over our bed. Then I'm wide awake for the rest of the night.

The most important thing to know is when you first start using this you're going to see an up tick in mice making it seem like it's attracting them but it's just drawing them out of hiding. They will eventually leave. I live in a farm house with a severe mice issue this really did make a huge difference.

Feature I like is when scrolling through the different sounds I can hear differences. Other brands I have used in the past I hear nothing ( frequency range ) and I have to assume they may be working. Easy to plug in and use. Places in my motorhome in a storage unit- no signs of any critters.

This device chased the squirrels out of my attic and kept them out until I patched up the access points. I 've kept the Superior Rodent Ultrasonic Squirrel Repellent Plugged in so that it can keep any other critters away. So far so good...
