    We have a rental house in the woods. When we bought it, it came with a feral cat. The cat kept away flying squirrels, bats etc. Sadly, cat got old and passed. House then became a critter magnet. We hired services to block holes, trap wildlife etc at high cost but the critters would find another way in. At the start of spring, I found that we had an infestation of bats in the chimney. I didn’t want to pay a wildlife remover again, so I purchased two of these ultrasonic repellants with the thought of if they don’t work at this rental, I’ll use them in our home for any critters (neighbors cats take care of mice). I know it says that they’re not for outdoor use, but I did put them on the covered porches, well sheltered from the elements. They are completely silent, so my first thought was that they didn’t work, but whatever, I’ll give it a week. So a week or two later, no bats! And in addition, no carpenter bees or wasps either! I’m THRILLED with this product and have recommended it to neighbors. I never ever submit reviews, so if I’m doing a review, it has to be a fantastic product! 10/10 stars!

    I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a bat problem. We live in Mexico for 5 1/2 months of the year. We have a palapa (an open-sided covering with a thatched roof made of dried palm leaves) and bats like to roost in it during the night. Every morning before we would enjoy our coffee, the table and chairs that sit beneath the palapa needed to be disinfected and the floor swept because of the bat droppings. Now, in the evening, I plug this incredible little machine in, and in the morning NO BAT DROPPINGS. Bats moved out! I'm an animal lover and I like the fact that it doesn't hurt them. It just moves them. I was somewhat skeptical when ordering ... hoping the silent (to our ears) sonic noise would be loud enough for the bats to hear over the ocean and it is. We tried to figure out what the most humane way was to get rid of it and were coming up empty handed until we found this. The reviews were mixed about it's success, but it was the best rated of the available ones.We set it up one evening, cleaned up all signs of the bat, and waited a few days. Went back up and checked and found some signs of the bat still being there, but much less. Cleaned again and checked a few more days later, and no signs of the bat.Very pleased with this purchase.

    I rarely write reviews, but I swear by these devices! We have 2 houses (1 is a rental) and bats love the prefab chimneys. We could hear them moving around behind the wall and saw droppings under the chimney. Of course the chimneys are on the steepest side of the houses, so we couldn’t easily block off any holes. Before I paid for a pro to come out, I wanted to give these a try. I bought 1 for each house and plugged them in on the covered porches, away from the elements. I followed the instructions completely and they have disappeared! The have been gone the last 3 nights; no more nasty bat poop!
