   Used this to trim down plastic t-molding on an odd size cabinet. Worked great, and cut well. Just make sure to use on flat sides. Do not try and go around corners or curves. If you have curves ( like arcade cabinets ) temporarily install and trim the length of material you need. Then do a final install.

I can see where some of the other comments about real wood edging and going against the grain could be an issue however.

   I'm pleased with this device- I got it to do one thing- trim off excess edge banding off plywood. I dont know if it can be used to do anything else, assuming it's just for what I use it for. It's performed well and I have no complaints with it. It cuts edge banding accurately, cleanly, and is a major upgrade (for me) because I previously was cutting off the excess banding with a razor blade.

   I got this for my first edge banding project and it made the job so easy! It was actually a little thrill to see the curls of vaneer peeling start to pile up on the floor. One tip is to be sure to take a look at the grain and don't cut against it. Also, I used only one half of the cutter to touch up a couple rough spots. When I was done trimming i ran a medium foam sanding block down the edge twice to clean up any glue.

   I had a similar tool that I just never was able to get to work correctly. It was square and would gouge my work piece if I wasn't careful. Fortunately I misplaced it and so I had to buy a replacement. This one is a dream to use. It fits in your hand very comfortably and quickly trims your work piece flawlessly and I didn't have one gouge even going around the curved edges of the gun cabinet I have uploaded pictures of. Highly recommend this product!

   Much better than the single-edge trimmer by the other brand. A theft left me missing a lot of tools. I thought I had geared up to make some simple cabinets but at the last minute realized my edging trimmer was among the missing. Local stores only carried the single edge trimmer (the yellow one) so I gave it a try. Doing one side at a time wasn't a big deal but it just doesn't trim a flush as the Fastcap brand, even going back and forth over it several times.
