This is a slick little kit that I took a chance on just to see what is possible with a smart phone camera. I had just picked up a Galaxy S4 and of course a new phone needs new accessories, right? The fish eye lens alone is well worth the price of admission. It does exactly as advertised. The Macro and Wide angle also do as advertised but neither produce the "wow" factor I was looking for like the fish eye does. Each lens screws (and unscrews) from the clip (which is padded where it makes contact with the phone) and you simply line the accessory lens up using the phone's camera view until the clip body is no longer visible to the phone's camera. This sounds more complicated than it is and usually takes me less than 5 to 10 seconds to get right.

However I discovered when using with the case there was a small amt of diffused black showing on the 4 corners when using the wide angle (it's also fully around the fish eye which is expected).

The wide angle lens doesn't do much inside but when you take it outside it really expands your view quite a bit. The macro lens is a little trick at first but once you get used to it works quite well too, you have to get really close to the object of your photo, almost touching it. We got a picture of a bee on a flower, the bee takes up the whole frame and is clear as day, you can see all it features and hair and all. The device clips easily to the phone and is simple to use. Within a minute out of the box my wife was snapping pictures wit the fish eye lens. Great buy for the price!

I wasn't certain of how to put it back together....it could easily be put back together if I knew the sequence of the parts. Combining the two purchases, I have a lot of flexibility for taking pictures and shooting video. But the main reason I bought the lens kits is for closeups. The macro lens works really well for seeing detail the is too fine for me to see without a magnifying glass or something else like that. Now I can just snap on the lens and either look at the object directly or take a picture of it for later. The kit came with 3 lenses and 2 lens covers because two of the lenses screw together. It also came with a small cloth bag to store the lenses. I think my only complaint is that the cover may come off while it is in the bag and a lens may get scratched. I think I will make a small foam thing to put the lenses in before I put them in the bag so that aren't floating about.
