I live in Houston where it is hot so my first one faded within one year because I left it on my hammock stand 24/7. I would suggest only leaving this hammock on your stand when using to prevent fading. I love the soft, vibrant colored fabric. It is very easy to spend an afternoon under my crape myrtles reading a book in this cozy hammock. The only thing I do for a little extra comfort is add a rolled towel under my neck.
