You can comfortably pack a huge amount of gear and the straps along with the waist harness are made to support it. A good amount of attachment points and plenty of straps to top, bottom and side attach items. A full rain cover and a distress whistle too. I don't do long hauls, but this pack will do and accommodate everything I need for a weekender.
