I've read that some beginner telescopes can be difficult to get the hang of and that it might be best to use them to look at far objects in the day. I will try that prior to using it at night.    This telescope was easy to assemble and use right out of the box. Once assembled, we simply calibrated the site scope and then were able to view the stars using the different lenses. My kids easily understood how to "tweak" the telescope using the adjustment dials and swap out the viewing lenses allowing them to easily view different objects at varied distances. Highly recommend!
