   I had a lot of algae, different kinds, in my little pond. This stuff killed most of it on the first application. Took another shot to get rid of the heavy stringy stuff. It has been two weeks and none of the algae has returned. Plus, it takes so little to kill the algae that this bottle will last a really long time! Great stuff! I would certainly recommend it to any pond owners looking for a good anti-algae product!

   This product has been very effective for keeping our pond water clear and fish healthy. Fish are not adversely affected, except when we put way too much into the water at one time. (Didn't read the directions! tsk tsk!) All fish survived in spite of our over-eagerness to get rid of the overgrown algae. Definitely got rid of green water and the string algae in about two weeks of applications. A small amount of algae remains on the rocks, like a fuzzy face, but it is appropriate, providing food for the gold-fish and shubunkins. And the water is crystal clear. A visitor asked me, "How do you keep your pond so CLEAN?" Victory! Been using this for a month now, and the pond water looks fantastic, fish are happy, and so are we!

   When used as directed, this solution kept all forms of algae out of our 500 gallon pond all summer long. I had a moss problem earlier that is now corrected, so only the algae problem remained. It's now fixed and I only used half of the container this season. I suspect the other half will work next year.

   Have used multiple algae fixes for our 2400 gal koi pond over the past 10 years are none have been satisfactory. Algaefix has done the job of clearing up the early summer mess and has continued to keep the water clear for the past month including the "bloom" period. Caution tho: follow directions carefully as this product can be harmful to your fish if you over-treat. Fantastic product.

   This formula did an excellent job clearing the green algae from our small outdoor goldfish pond. It was overgrown with stringy hair algae from the cold season and the pump was not running at full capacity. I added 10 oz. of the solution to the water and the next morning the water was crystal clear; I could see the bottom of the pond again. I'll definitely use this product again next season.

   I was looking forward to offer my review. Especially for the Koi owners. When I built my pond I purchased two Koi and some Comets. It wasn't long before Algae started to form. I purchased an Algacide at Home Depot. Used as directed my Koi died. The Comets survived. From then on I only purchased feeder fish in colors. When I used the Algae fix I use less than instructed. Regardless of claims that products won't kill fish Koi may be at risk. Comets have a better tolerance.

   I had a few koi added to my pond/waterfall this spring. Lazy me let the algae run wild. It got to the point you couldn't see the water basically, and I had ducks bobbing for the fish. I got this out of desperation, because the fish hadn't been eating (I don't blame them) and the pond was beyond hope. So I ordered this stuff, and used it every 3 days like it said. I was sure it was going to kill the fish. I hesitate to use superlatives because to me that's the sign of a fake review, but this stuff was fantastic. Within a week the pond was clear, and the fish were healthy and finally eating. I was simply amazed. Note: You will have to clean out the filter every day while this algae control does it's thing because so much junk will get into the filter and pump if you don't. But this product is one of the few that greatly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

   I have two 57 watt UV lights on my 8000 gallon pond but occasionally for some unknown reason the water starts to turn a little green. I put one cup of this in the pond and the very next day it is sparking clear. I have tons of aeration with two waterfalls and a bottom aerator so no signs of stress at all on fish when using this. I used the recommended dosage once when my UV lights quit working when i was away. The pond was very green when i got back. I fixed the uv lights and with allgaefix it was clear the next day. Amazing! I do recommend for occasional maintenance in addition to UV lights here in the hot Florida sun. I also have a shade cloth canopy to filter out some sun. I would not solely rely on chemicals like this to keep your pond clear. Make sure you have a ton of bio balls and try to limit some sun with plants or canopy/pergola. I have learned the hard way over the years with numerous ponds to treat the problem not the symptoms.
