   I hesitated in buying this product for my fish pond because of some of the reviews . I did not want to kill my fish and was very worried. I received my order and for a couple days I did not use it and finally broke down and used it! FOLLOW manufacturers instructions is so very important! Feed fish an hour before adding product.I turned on pump for waterfall and water fountain and added exact amount near waterfall! Let it run for 24 hours is critical! Fish are great and water is clearing up! So excited because prior to using product we could not see the fish! Only at feeding time.

   I read reviews about dead fish and was worried, but the algae was a problem that had to get solved. So far, it's doing well. I started with half the necessary dose and that helped to clear the water overnight. I watched the fish and they seemed to be frisky and active, so I applied a second half dose a week later. (2300 gallon pond) They are all doing fine and the algae is managed pretty well. Need to vacuum out the bottom of the pond to remove some of the dead algae and prevent more from cropping up. Just take your time with the dosage and make sure to keep your pump running with good filtration and aeration.

   This stuff works great and is the ONLY product (and I've tried many) that has totally and completely solved my string algae problems. Whenever a bloom is evident, I add a cup full to the head of my waterfall and the benefits are visible within 24 - 36 hours as the algae will turn from bright green to brown. After waiting approximately three to four days, I will add another cup full targeting specific areas where the product didn't reach the first time and, again, within 24 - 36 hours the remaining string algae is dead and disintegrating from the rocks and that which was dying initially has completely disappeared.

   Based on other reviews, I decided to be conservative with treatment. I set my filter on a box so that it was close to the surface and vigorously shooting water out of the pond, to increase aeration. I under-treated based on careful measurements of the pond. It didn't totally clear it, but it significantly knocked down the awful hair algae. I treated again after three days and got more results. I'm using it about once a week now and there is still a bit of algae on the sides, but it looks natural. Also, my plants were getting strangled and now they have lots of new growth. I didn't lose any of my fish. So just be careful!

   I've tried just about every algaecide product out there. Florida sun is tough on ponds and mine has a duck who mucks it up enjoying her life. The pond was shameful but it wasn't for lack of spending a small fortune on products that didn't help... until I found this product. I can see my goldfish again. I can see the bottom at two feet (not at four feet). A blanket of furry, mossy algae covering the sides died to reveal the liner beneath. It took two bottles for my pond and I'm reordering to have this on hand for another treatment after summer. It really require vigorous aeration to help the fish breathe as the algae dies off.

I've procrastinated too long in buying an algaecide, for two reasons: One, we have a huge frog living in our pond, who is here year after year; and two, our pond was built by the previous home owner, & no one knows how many gallons it is. So I hesitated in using something incorrectly and killing our frog. Most of reviews were really good on this product, that is advertised as safe for wildlife. So I took a chance. I may be under-dosing just a tad, to be on the safe side, but my pond is clear now, and my frog is fine!!! Plus we have squirrels, lizards, & who knows what else drinking out of it, & I haven't found anyone who has died. I'll always use this now.

   Really effective. Went of vacation and returned home to see my pond infested with string algae, it was everywhere, in the falls, on every rock, and even in the skimmer. I used this product in accordance with the instructions and it began working almost immediately. Everyday after I applied it, the pond had less and less algae. After a week the algae was no longer visible, it was completely gone. In order to protect my fish I followed the dosage precisely and I added an additional aerator to the pond during treatment to make sure they had enough oxygen. This product is super effective, works great and did not harm my fish. I am very happy with this product and will use it again if need be.

   Do not use any algae products unless you have alot of aeration. Your fish will die! I have a very large septic aeration pump going to a very large diffuser on a bottom drain and I lost 1 fish. However I did use alot more than directions. I have been vacuuming what looks like dish soap bubbles off of the top of the water for 3 weeks after most of algae was dead. I tried another brand first and it did nothing at all. This starts to work immediately but I had a really bad really tough algae problem. It works but not as fast as I wanted so I waited the 3 days before retreating the first time then overdosed the 2nd and lagae gone. Can't wait for soap bubbles to be gone also (from oversosing I'm sure)

   This product has been very effective for keeping our pond water clear and fish healthy. Fish are not adversely affected, except when we put way too much into the water at one time. (Didn't read the directions! tsk tsk!) All fish survived in spite of our over-eagerness to get rid of the overgrown algae. Definitely got rid of green water and the string algae in about two weeks of applications. A small amount of algae remains on the rocks, like a fuzzy face, but it is appropriate, providing food for the gold-fish and shubunkins. And the water is crystal clear. A visitor asked me, "How do you keep your pond so CLEAN?" Victory! Been using this for a month now, and the pond water looks fantastic, fish are happy, and so are we!

   I had a few koi added to my pond/waterfall this spring. Lazy me let the algae run wild. It got to the point you couldn't see the water basically, and I had ducks bobbing for the fish. I got this out of desperation, because the fish hadn't been eating (I don't blame them) and the pond was beyond hope. So I ordered this stuff, and used it every 3 days like it said. I was sure it was going to kill the fish. I hesitate to use superlatives because to me that's the sign of a fake review, but this stuff was fantastic. Within a week the pond was clear, and the fish were healthy and finally eating. I was simply amazed. Note: You will have to clean out the filter every day while this algae control does it's thing because so much junk will get into the filter and pump if you don't. But this product is one of the few that greatly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.
