great product!!! Now if I do this, the light ring will just blink to show the switch is in the on position because the alarm is the car start device not the push button module, but when the car starts by pressing the brake and press the button it stays lit. I recommend it if you don't have an alarm yet or just want the fun element of telling people that the blue thing is your key.

This product works great. with a little knowledge with audio/video wiring you can install this in the comfort of your own garage. instrutions were a bit confusing but like I said with a little knowledge in wiring you can figure it out. Customer service was exceptional because I emailed them questions and they fired back answers within a matter of time which was phenomenal. will buy more of these.

It was hard to wire at first - but when I discovered the harness on my igniter it was the pastry - just make sure you don't mix up the ignition connectors and your car will start. move now. I've never done anything like this- I watched a few videos and read some articles but the hardest part was looking up my car's wiring diagram. Other than that, this works like a charm!

The application used is to attach a button to replace the key for cars with remote start feature. Model 98 car has a Code Alert System, the button works very well, suitable for my needs, no need to check the key when the car starts remotely and simulates the key in the on position, so the car does not turn off when I press the brake pedal. great product

I liked this product I did however get a defective one at first but because of this company's great customer service I got a new unit that worked very well aside form not actually starting my car just turning it over however I don't believe this or the units fault I believe my car has an immobilizer that I'm unaware of. This is a good overall product

Replaced my nasty turnkey ignition lock cylinder that was broken and stuck. There is a great video dedicated to the Ford Ranger of the 2000s on the location of all the leads. If you want to skip the brake line (make sure you squeeze the brake before starting), you can simply plug the green brake line into the IGN 2 or the fixed wire.

Works great and easy to install. I put it in my boat and put the rf ring right after the push button so you can just press the rf key on the button and start it up. It doesn't have much range on rfid though. It's similar to the rfid tag at the garage or office building, where you have to touch it pretty much.

Easy to install depends entirely on the car. Directions are good. With older GM vehicles such as my Saturn, you must beat and pass the PassLock system or the car will shut down after a second of starting. This is unlike modern factory push buttons, where you have to keep the keys within an inch of the antenna.

You can also program it for waiter mode when you don't need to do this, but that's a security risk. Works and looks great, only negative is that it gets pretty bright at night and doesn't dim with the dash lights... but it's out of control so it shouldn't matter.
