It seems to be made from quality material that will last (I've only had it a couple of weeks, so we will see if it lasts as long as I think it will). We live in apartments and this makes it easy to pick up our dog's poop and the neighbors. It picks up everything except for diarrhea. We save so much money in plastic bags. Only issue I have with it is that I wish it was a little longer as I am tall and the handle is fairly short.
