If you're on a low fat diet, I suggest using a little bit of PAM on the surface, and wiping with a paper towel between each crepe. The other thing is we like our crepes a little more crispy, so we turned each over for 2 seconds. Didn't take long at all to get a batch ready. By the way - don't pay extra for the other machine that comes with a dipping tray, just use a regular glass pie dish - easy. This one is so easy to clean too! We love it. Hope this helps.
