I was concerned that a shower caddy may not work for my tub because the inner tub-edge is slightly lower than the outer, so although maybe not as attractive, I knew I couldn't really go with a bamboo version but the bamboo trays don't adjust. I am so very happy with this style. Plastic, yes, but very sturdy, and it expands so you can get an exact fit to the sides of your tub. Very helpful for keeping the tray secure, is the wonderful added bonus of having rubber pads on the part of the shelf that rests on the edge of the tub. Maybe not as elegant as the shelves in wood or bamboo, but sturdy, very nice looking, and I just love those side grips that keep the shelf stable and in place!

The only problem with that one was that it was deep and not wide enough to put toys in and actually play (our daughter loves transferring liquids from cups). I got this because my son was getting water out of the tub everytime be played in the bath because he would set cups on the side and try to fill them with water. This works perfectly to solve that problem! It's adjustable to fit your size tub. I wouldn't trust it to hold glass bottle items because there isn't any suction, it just literally sits on top of the edges with just like a rubber gripper bottom. I was worried it would fall alot do to the small edge on the inside of the tub but it's only fallen a couple of times. Overall great value for what I needed.
