   I bought these for my two kittens because they looked easier to press then the typical round buttons. My tiny girl, only 12 weeks old at the time, learned to press one to ‘play' within a few hours. My boy took a couple weeks, but he was just a slow learner, not the fault of the buttons. They now have two set up, one to ask to ‘play' and one to ask for treats. They use them all the time independently, even pressing purposefully with their back paws at times.

He still thinks it's a toy but I believe in a couple of weeks that will change. We had to place the mat under a table leg so he doesn't carry it outside.
