Color is right, sizing is a little larger than expected but nothing a pair of decent socks can't fix. The shine is classy and the height is perfect for formal wear pants. Really comfortable shoes too, as most patent dress shoes can be a bit stiff and uncomfortable. I do highly recommend using a shoehorn to put them on so you don't crease the patent top layer which can make them look a bit too worn in on first use. Overall I recommend if you need them for the above mentioned events. You'll look great and get some compliments
