When playing tuggy, having a handle or a ball to grab onto is a terrific idea. My dog loves to relax on her bed and chew the rope ball, which keeps her teeth clean.

   I only get this rope toy out when me and my dog can play together. I don't just leave it out. If I did, it'd likely be in the bin by now. My Staffie is an aggressive chewer but she's smart, and takes great pleasure in picking toys apart. We use it for tug of war and for 30 mins chew sessions for her to pull bits apart. It's been in play for 3 months which is one of the longest a toy has lasted.

   It took a few days for him to get used to it, but this toy is now our cockapoo's favourite. He trots around the house with it in his mouth and even insists on searching it out first before playing any ball games. Like any other dog, he has had a pretty good go at dismantling it, with some small success, but it is easy to keep an eye on the state of the toy and cut off any loose cords that pop out. So all in all this has been a great success that is proving to be quite durable.
