I love this! We have had it on our wall about 7 months. Yes, it was time consuming to put on. We have very heavy Spanish Lace textured walls. So it was a chore. We used a hair dryer to heat the vinyl and that did seem to help. On a couple of the leaves I even had to use a little adhesive on the back in order to make them stick. Every once in a while I will rub down a couple of the little branches and leaves just for good measure. I think it is totally worth it though. We have this in our entryway hall and it just looks so nice. I think it would go on much easier and work beautifully on a smoother wall.

I absolutely love this family tree!!! It takes up my wall nicely. It's gorgeous. It is of quality material! When it arrived I cut out the pieces as suggested (simple cutting, not strict cutting on the lines). It was about 30 or so pieces. I taped it to the wall so I could position it. Those 2 steps were probably the most work. After that it was simple. I removed it from the backing paper, used the tool to remove air bubbles and ensure adhesion then peeled off the transfer paper. Total time was about 3 hrs start to finish. Love it! Would definitely recommend!

Plan it out and measure accordingly before starting. I was able to get sample pieces directly from Simple Shapes to test on our wall before ordering this large decal. We have an orange-peel textured wall and it went on just fine. Just make sure to use the smooth out tool provided to remove all air bubbles. We are very satisfied with how it turned out. We love it!!
