   Used this to edge-join some 5/4 boards to make a custom countertop. Worked a treat. Just watch the short Milescraft youtube video for a demo, super easy to use, almost idiot-proof. The only drawback is that it doesn't clamp in place to drill the holes, but as soon as the bit hit the wood it doesn't matter.

   Gotta have it if you're joining boards and don't want to shell out hundreds for a biscuit or a domino. Easy to use after following the instructions from the videos. I wouldn't, however, just use one hand to stabilize it while drilling with the other, i clamped the jig down everytime I drilled a hole to make it steady.

   I needed to make an extension for my table tennis topper. It is a two-piece design that uses wooden dowels to align the two halves. The topper is not regulation size (about a foot shorter) so I wanted to make a 1-foot extension that I could place in the middle and have the two halves plug into the extension. There are three dowels so I needed to drill holes in the extension that matched the two halves perfectly. This tool made it so easy to get the holes aligned and drilled to the correct depth.
