I cut out some fabric from under the back of the couch, patched the places where they did the most damage, then put these protectors over the areas. They adhere well and have stayed put for several weeks. The cats have to tried to scratch the area and quickly learned that it wasn't fun anymore!

Ever since I put them up she had done less and less clawing in those areas I guess it's because her nails just slide off which is the idea so I'm happy. It doesn't stick as well as I thought it would but I put the pins on the corners to hold them down which is where they need to be secure.

Oh boy, these are just what I needed. My cat is very smart and knows not to scratch my hope chest (it has fabric on top). He just chooses to scratch it because he can. I did not want these on the sides of my hope chest because it is a wood surface. So I threw an old comforter on top and put these protectors over it. If I don't, the little crapper will scratch through the comforter as well.

This is a great way to protect the corners of your furniture. Very easy to install the adhesive stay secure while putting in the easy screw pins. I bought this for my mother who just got a kitten. She doesn't scratch on the corners anymore however being a kitten she does chew on them which immediately puts little holes through the plastic. But that's certainly to be expected.

My house is covered in multiple blankets and pillows to cover the areas he scratches and the shreds are covered with duct tape! These little miracles come with both very sticky backs and little spiral pins to hold them on to your furniture. I tried both and they both work great! Best thing, its slick, so the little demon cant get his murder claws into it. On my second order. Everything will be covered in plastic. BWHAHAHAHAHA.

Very impressed! Stuck great to my couch corners, even over areas that are in shreds from my cats. I was worried I wouldn’t have to trim down all of the loose strands of the woven fabric down to the couch base for these to stick, b it they had no problem. I didn’t bother putting on the pins, but kept them in case I’d need them later. They look nice enough. For the price, I could see myself rather buying another pack when the edges start rising vs using the pins. My only complain is how shiny the protectors are. If they came out with a matte finish version I’d gladly spend more on those to help with the appearance. In bright lights, it can tend to look like packing tape because of the reflections.
