    I loved the lights and how bright they were. I noticed when in the flashing setting, they seem to dim more when lit, but it's not enough to bother me. If there is anything I don't like, it's probably the weight of the battery pack when strapped around the neck. It's not the most comfortable to have around your throat, but it's also not as if its choking either. I got used to it and noticed it less.

I’ve worn them multiple nights in a row at music festivals and they are still rock’n. The poles will pop through with heavy use- easy fix though.     This is such a unique, fun, and cool cape! I bought this for a friend's themed wedding party, and it looks great as part of my costume. While it's not the most comfortable cape to wear, that's to be expected considering the material (which is a lovely shade of iridescent white with green and gold undertones) and the fact that there are fairly lights sewn in, but it's well-constructed and serves my purposes well. My only concerns are that it seems a bit fragile for an entire night of dancing, and that the lighting wires might snag on something and come off. I'm also pretty sure it's not the kind of cape you can sit on without damaging the lights, but I haven't tested this yet and don't plan to do so because I want to keep the integrity of the design and its lighting function. The battery pack, which is attached to the neck, is a bit cumbersome, but again -- it's not made for comfort; it's meant to make an impressive statement (granted, this might not be an issue for someone with a smaller neck, or if you're wearing it for a performance). Overall, I love the product and can't wait to wear it with my finalized costume. Finally, the seller's customer service is a huge PLUS; they sent a personal, thoughtful email to follow-up on my purchase, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend this product!

    This is fantastic. It's the most fabulous rainbow cape for nighttime that I could have wanted. It's not really that bad as far as comfort, especially if you distribute the weight over your shoulders. The effect is absolutely gorgeous, and the telescoping wands allow you to move the cape in all kinds of dramatic flourishes. I also like how the switch is on a cable that can be controlled down at hand height; you don't have to mess around with your neck to turn the lights on and off. It is almost like magic; you flip the hidden switch and bam! instant glamour. I plan to wear it to nighttime Renaissance Faires but it'd be perfect for a Pride event or for use on-stage as well. One caveat: the pictures make it look as though the fabric itself is rainbow-colored; it's not. This is an iridescent white cape that reflects the colored LEDs, and it only looks rainbow when you turn the lights on. I'm 5'4" and the length is to the floor on me. It's just perfect; I'm very excited.

    And these are one of those things - they look just like the pictures! I looked into making articulated wings as a costume and the easiest way is to strap them to your arms without creating armature. Granted, that means they aren't really articulated like bird's wings, but these are more like butterfly wings anyway. I received the multicolor ones and just wow...when you are wearing them, holding your arms up shows just how beautiful they are! The only thing I wish is that they were powered either by those larger, thin watch-type batteries and/or had the ability to be usb recharged. Okay, so I have rechargeable AA batteries, but it would be so much nicer NOT to have that thick battery holder attached, y'know? Other than that, this set of wings is about the coolest thing ever!

From EDC to Comic Con, I cannot begin to tell you the number or photos I've been in and the number of compliments I've received. They look beautiful in the sun with their iridescent shine and even more amazing at night when the lights get turned on. They have stood up to the abuse of multiple days use, the batteries last about 4 solid hours of bright light and slowly fade thereafter. The velcro neck can feel scratchy and I think the white elastic band looks cheap. I just gold metallic cloth to cover it

I was concerned the weight of the wiring and everything else would impact the way the Isis wings move, but it didn’t! They look terrific in the dark, and under full/normal light, they more or less look like the iridescent white plain Isis wings. I also greatly appreciated the telescopic sticks for the inside. I used to use wooden dowels, and these beat those by a mile!
