    I have been using this cold brew coffee maker for 6 weeks now and am very satisfied. It is fairly high quality but you do need to be careful with the filter basket as you screw/unscrew it from the lid. The filter material is somewhat fragile but isn’t an issue as long as you grasp it by the plastic frame. The lid design is great as the large gasket prevents any leakage, which is important as you need to “agitate” the water by inverting the pitcher. I do this a couple of times during the 24-36 hours brewing process. It is very easy to clean, which I do every time prior to making a new batch of coffee, with warm sudsy water. Makes a good tasting ice coffee!

    This coffee maker is my BEST FRIEND! I use this everyday, it's so easy to use! My coffee comes out perfect every time. I'm a cold coffee drinker and I put about 8-10 scoops of freshly ground coffee into the filter. I let it sit overnight and the next morning, I remove the filter and dump the grounds. It makes 4 days worth of coffee and I love that it's ready to go for me, especially since I wake up at 4:50 am and I need to make my coffee quickly! It's very easy to clean as well. Make sure to remove the rubber linings inside the caps so that you can clean in the crevices. I would recommend rinsing the filter thoroughly as soon as you remove the coffee grounds. If you don't, the gentle filter will begin to "stain" and be hard to wash by hand. If that happens, just throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out good as new!

    Not going to lie, I was pretty upset when this item arrived because I viewed it as 4 different overly-priced plastic pieces. I ordered the 2L size, not because I have multiple people drinking coffee with me, but because I drink 12 to 16 ounces of cold brew every morning. It’s pretty efficient at keeping up with my cold brew intake. After a couple weeks of using this pitcher, I realized it was not the plastic that you are paying for with this item. You’re paying for the design. It’s very sleek and cool-looking in your fridge, yes, but in addition it keeps the coffee grinds out of your brew completely and making the most delicious cold brew I’ve ever had. Before the quarantine, I would purchase a cold brew from Starbucks every morning. Now I enjoy my own cold brew more than Starbucks cold brew. I have full control of the strength and flavor, I can even get creative and combine different coffee grounds to make my own brew. My only complaint is the filter piece is difficult to clean. I have tiny hands and cannot reach down in there with normal hand-washing methods. The other plastic pieces are pretty easy to clean, I can even fit my entire arm into the pitcher section to clean it with a soft sponge. After purchasing a baby-bottle brush I am now able to clean every nook and cranny of the filter, so I have no more complaints other than that I had to spend more money on a specialty cleaning brush to clean the filter.

    I don't know how good is a good outcome when it comes to brewing cold brew. All I know is that this brewing pitcher is an easy buy when making a cold brew. I had to research of course, and I ended up with this because of the simplicity and the cost to buy. I have yet to still find a very good brewing time for my coffee and different coffees have different characteristics and reaction to brewing management. Like with aeropress, I am still experimenting, though I have quit that method for quite a while now. I would like to get back with the aeropress some of these days. You can view cold brew as a sort of meal prep; you'll have coffee for days before brewing another one, unless you're in love, or need a lot of coffee. Whereas the aeropress, even though it's quick, it still can be served in a relaxing manner if that is your sort of thing, I'm for sure not like that every day as some days you want to rush the start of the day like there's no tomorrow lol.

    The instructions are confusing on the coffee to water ratio. Most of the instructions seemed to apply to the 1 qt, but I just searched online what a good ratio is and I’ve found that 1 cup of ground coffee (16 tbsp) is perfect for the amount of water that I can fit in the 2 qt container. When I put the pitcher in the fridge sideways to give the grounds more surface area, it leaked a good bit by the time I checked on it again so I suggest setting it right side up and giving it a good shake whenever you go in the fridge. After about a day, I get a pretty decent cup of cold brew, but I usually leave it in longer than 24 hours and by the time I get half way down the pitcher, I start adding more water since it gets really strong which I like because I know it’s doing it’s job!

    I loved this cold brew pitcher. I have purchased two other brands previously plus this one and this particular one is my favorite. As far as taste, they are all very similar, however, the material used for this one makes it easier to clean and more versatile. It holds a good amount, fits nicely in the fridge because it is shorter, and is plastic to prevent breakage. The other two brands I had were glass and both shattered... not just broke, but shattered into little slivers of glass around my kitchen. This one is also easy and quick to use. I usually make it at night and I am exhausted but it is a quick fill up an twist then in the fridge it goes. I believe I have purchased six total of this pitcher. I own two myself, and the rest are gifts. I have owned the first one now for almost two years and it is still in perfect condition even after all the dishwasher runs it has been through. The filter also is easy to clean/dumping out the coffee grounds. The grounds don't get stuck in little crevasses like other ones I have had.

    It gets the job done and does it well! Made my first batch yesterday morning and poured myself some today... came out exactly how I would of hoped even with cheaper supermarket coffee (wasn't gonna waste my good stuff experimenting)! Couple key points... since the filter is attached to the top, its not the easiest to pour over your grounds in order to properly stir and "bloom" them. If done correctly this refines the flavor and smoothness of your brew. I get that's a hot coffee deal but it does make a difference for cold brew as well. I added 1 cup of course ground coffee, then ran cold water over them into the container and let it sit for 15 minutes... instead of stirring I bobbed the filter in the water and agitated the grounds before adding the next cup. Repeated the process now with a full container and all grounds associated with the recipe. Brew sat refrigerated for 24 hours before serving. Like I said... it came out great, smooth and a nicely refined taste for it being cheaper coffee. I can't wait to try some better beans next!!

    Very easy to use and clean. Others have reported leaks but I haven't had any issues with that, just make sure the lid is on tight. I had a difficult time figuring out the right amount of coffee grounds...I've been filling the filter about two-thirds full and that works for me. You have to be careful that the grounds don't float up because if they do, they won't sink down. I wasted a bunch of grounds by not realizing the water had pushed them up so they never got absorbed. I usually get four or five cups of coffee from mine before refilling. The little booklet says the coffee is concentrated and you only need a few ounces to make a cup, but that hasn't been my experience. I'm not a coffee snob though, so maybe I'm just missing something!

    Perfect. I don’t know how I’ve lived without this for so long. No more buying overpriced iced coffee that doesn’t even taste that great. This is so easy to use and just as easy to clean. It is plastic but it looks like glass. And honestly I’m glad it’s plastic so I don’t have to worry about breaking it. I almost bought the larger size due to my intake of coffee (and I still might) but so far this one is fairing well. One brew will last me a couple of days when I’m working. I pour I into a hydroflask with my favorite creamer and it stays cold for the midday pick me up. I suppose you could put it in the dishwasher but I hand wash it. I highly recommend this product all around. You need this in your life.
