This was a super easy to use tool. It works as described. I used it on door frame edges, ceiling and floor edges. Never used tape. Also used it in corners. Quick tool, no taping needed. Only issue I ran into is that, given the protecting side, it does not go all the way to the top or edge but that is ok. I used a brush to finish that part up.

This edger really made the job easier. We have lots of crown molding and chair rails to paint along and before I got this I had to tape ever piece of trim. You still need to tape corners but otherwise this did the job. I would not again buy the 4" paint tray. It's too small to get paint off the roller. A standard roller tray works fine.

This literally saved me hours. I use to tape everything off before I started to paint but with this I don't have to. Saving me hours. A must have if you're painting rooms

Did not take long at all. The only misplaced paint was on my hand when I accidentally touched the roller- ha ha. Just follow the directions.

I suggest not loading on too much paint, and rolling out outside paint edge so it doesn't leave a line. I was also a bit neurotic and wiped the outside of the guard after every sweep. The last thing I wanted to happen was to drag a gray paint line across the ceiling I had painted the day before. I highly recommend this tool
