My son just uses the screwdriver most of the time. Hes 5and he really enjoys it and he’s able to put the pieces together with relatively no issues. I wish the little book was easier to see, I had a hard time making out how some of it was put together when my son asked for help. Overall, he’s happy so I’m happy.

The pieces are too small for a child who might stick things in their mouth’s, but they’re perfect for his age. They’re small enough that he hast to work a little bit hard to get them into the holes, and to grab them well to rotate them but not so small as to make him too frustrated with it. When his hands get tired he can use the drill, or the screwdriver. The pieces are colorful and fairly durable with the handy storage case that also acts as a board for drilling and creating patterns.
