He didn’t whine if he was on your lap but then that negated the point of his harness & seatbelt. We figured it may have been because he couldn’t see out the window & was feeling carsick. We thought we’d take a chance on this booster seat which, if I’m honest I thought seemed expensive for what it was & I am SO glad we did! Rufus hasn’t whined once in the car & he has had several outings, some of which were quite lengthy in duration. It would be worth the money just for the quiet alone but the booster seat is very well made & obviously comfy too. I would feel safe having him in this seat, attached by his harness if we had to brake suddenly. Rufus is one of the bigger build Borders & he fits in nicely (as you can see in the photo) he was laying down flat diagonally in it & I feel confident in saying he could curl up in this if he wanted to. I would definitely recommend this booster seat to anyone who has a Whiney/car sick dog. It’s a thumbs up👍🏻 from me and a definite two paws up 🐾
