He’s a bit of a wingnut - and incredibly intelligent - I pushed the pedal with a stick, he caught the water, causing him to land on the pedal - he had function figured out inside 60 seconds. Had to put this out of sight, or he barks at it when the water is off. He would play with it 24/7 if he could.

We love it, it burns off a lot of Puppy Energy and cleans her teeth. One word of caution, we recommend supervision. Our Puppy drinks a lot of water while biting the water stream. We do not use it in the evening because we do not want her to have a full bladder before going to bed. We limit the time we let her play with it but we use it many times during the day.

We purchased this when our GSD was 5 months old and he learned quickly. We did have to lower the pressure a bit. The one drawback is that it IS made out of metal and the bottom will rust if it sits in water/mud. We ended up placing it on a cement pad and the water drains off. Voilà!
