   None of these lighters have great battery life, they are simply too small, if you smoke a pack a day or more it will not last the day for you. This is not a fault of the lighter or the design, there is only so much space inside for a battery. That being said, this lighter is slightly larger than the other two I have owned, and as a result does have slightly better battery life. As far as their claims of being windproof, um no, not really. It does better in wind than a butane lighter but it is still very much affected by the wind.

   I don't necessarily have a regular need for a specifically electric lighter, but this does work out well when caught in a windy situation. It charges fast, came with a little cleaner brush, and has held up well for the time I've had it (well over a year at this point). It is lightweight but not cheap, the design is sleek and attractive. Any time I pull this thing out people ask where I got it and they want to use it. It's a conversation starter at the very least, but also a great way to stop sucking in chemicals when lighting up. Thanks for an awesome product.

But it recharges quickly which shows it is the small battery size that is the problem. So one must decide what suits them most, a larger heavier size or this light compact size.

So far it has worked really well and is actually really cool to look at.    Low price for a lighter that recharges and uses no gas or sparking materials I love it. you never understand the hype of these lighters until you get one and feel it in your hands. This particular one feels amazing with the metal case and chrome buttons. The iffy thing is it uses a simple outdated old charger style and these types of lighters need to use USB type c so it charges faster.

   I've now used this lighter long enough to report its excellent battery life. A full charge lasted for 2 & 3/4 packs of cigarettes! Way longer than any other arc lighter I've used. In addition, it still remained active for some time when down to 1 LED remaining, again unmatched by any other arc I've used. This lighter is tops! And with its soft-touch action, is a real pleasure to use. Buy it!
