Omfg do yourself a favor and get this. It's excellent. I've never eaten so much fruit in my whole life and this makes it so easy. As soon as you get the hang of how long you need to defrost each type of fruit, the end product is great. I've tried kiwis, bananas, grapes, dragonfruit, blueberries, blackberries you name it, I've frozen and made sorbet out of it with this thing. By far the bananas get you the creamiest ice cream like flavor and texture out of any other fruit, but watermelon and the like make excellent sorbet-like products too. Anyway, get this and you'll never have to worry about wasting fruit ever again or craving ice cream in the middle of the night and fighting your inner demons against the call of frozen icy desserts.

This device takes frozen bananas and other frozen fruit and creates a really yummy frozen treat that seems almost like soft serve ice cream or sorbet. It is creamy and delicious but you don't have to add any sugar or additives. You always need a banana and then you can change up the other fruit You add so the flavors are easy to alter. We take the frozen fruit out of the freezer and let it thaw for about 7 minutes. Then you put the fruit chunks in the top of the appliance. You use the black pusher to push the fruit down into the grinding part of the machine. It comes out into a bowl that you put below. You need to eat this right away. Once it completely thaws, the fruit gets weird—sort of like baby food and frankly you could probably use it as baby food. It's easy to disassemble and hand wash. Then we air dry it. We have really enjoyed this appliance.

If you're in the mood for fruit with the consistency of ice cream this thing is definitely for you. I will admit when you're done its a little messy, especially when you open it up but considering its all dishwasher friendly that mostly makes up for it. It's key to follow the directions though since the fruit needs to be slightly defrosted but once you use it a few times its easier to figure out the exact consistency the fruit needs to be. I loved bananas before this but this thing has taken them to the next level since it really does feel like you're eating banana ice cream. Plus it comes with a big recipe book so the different combination(besides just bananas)you can make are endless. Hence the very fitting name.

I love it. Heard about it in my weight watchers group and it did not disappoint. I followed the freezing and thawing instructions and it turned out great. My kids loved it and kept asking for more. I allowed them to add about a teaspoon of powdered sugar because some of the fruit wasn't sweet enough. That is way less sugar than they would be getting from even sherbet or sorbet. Yes, there is a good amount of fruit that gets stuck in the machine but it is very easy to scrape out and enjoy or discard. It does take a fair amount of fruit to make it work and to get a good sized dish. But it gets two thumbs up from me

Told myself I wasn't going to add to my small kitchen appliance collection since most sit in the cabinet and are rarely used but this is one of the exceptions. Love that I can create a fabulously yummy dessert that is just fruit. Delicious! Just pay attention to the instructions especially the defrost of fruit. Also don't expect it to look as pretty as the pics and be ready to disassemble the machine to scrape out the fruit that is left in the machine. Not a big deal but a lot would be wasted if you skip this step. Overall I love this machine and use it several times a week. Hope you enjoy your banana ice cream as much as I do!

This was recommended to me by a friend when I mentioned I wanted a cool frozen dessert that didn't take a lot of time or prep to do. This is the answer. Freeze your favorite fruit or buy frozen fruit of your choice. Freeze bananas according to directions. Take out frozen fruit about 10 to 20 minutes before you plan to make the dessert. My freezer I need the 20 minutes. Then just put the fruit through the machine as explained in the simple directions and a couple of minutes later you have your frozen fruit dessert. The bananas just give it the creaminess. So if you don't like bananas just go heavier on your other fruits to hide the banana flavor. It is also VERY Easy to clean.

Upon changing to a healthier diet, I missed ice cream, until we found the Yo-nana's. So far we have not been disappointed. It is pretty noisy when grinding up the frozen fruit, but other than that, it creates a creamy smooth bowl full of goodness. The only thing that i've found to be a downfall is that a lot of the fruit gets up in the inside pieces and you have to take it apart to get everything out that you put into the machine. Cleaning is pretty easy, just don't forget to take all pieces apart to rinse and wash.

I love this product after only 3 days! It has been used so many times so far. With a teething baby it has been amazing for me. The cleaning is kind of tedious, but it's not get a toothbrush out type of tedious. It's just a few more pieces than a standard blender, but since I've been using it so much it has been annoying somewhat to clean every single time by hand.

The best ice cream can be made if the directions are strictly followed. Very simple to use and maintain. Instant results, unlike conventional ice cream machines that require waiting for bowls to freeze! Just keep in mind to freeze overripe bananas and to give them about 10 minutes to thaw before using.

I'm so glad I purchased this. It's fun to make healthy dessert and enjoy variety of flavors with little to no work. The one thing you'll want to be careful about is to let your frozen fruits sit for a few minutes before you start. There times depends on the fruit.
