That would be the only drawback, but it is that way with most technology for her. She loves it now that it is up and running. It is easy for her to use and enjoy. I love being able to send pictures from anywhere right to the frame. She loves getting alerted whenever I add a new batch of photos of the grandkids.

   This was a great buy for my family. The price is good for what you get and the quality of sound and video is great. It was perfect for a very long road trip - entertaining and simple enough for my kids (6 and 8) to use by themselves. I do take the screens down and store them in my center console when not on a road trip as the cords get in the way a bit during everyday in and out of the car.    I love that people can send pictures to the frame from anywhere. She is getting so much joy out of seeing pictures both old and new. I wish that the pictures that we originally loaded had the dates pictures were taken not the day they were loaded. It was very easy to setup and she sits and watches it for hours. I like that it is so large that she can see it well and I have it set to change phots every 60 seconds which gives her plenty of time to process who is in the picture and where it was taken.

   Looks awesome, features are fantastic. I am using this to replace an old tablet I converted to a digital picture frame. This looks way better and has so many great features. The best part, if you're giving this is a gift to grandpa or grandma is that it works right out of the box. You plug in a thumb drive or sd card with images and it automatically goes into a slideshow. This is perfect for the older person. I didn't even think about the motion sensor feature until I got this. It always bothered me to keep the frame on all day when I wasn't at home, the motion sensing takes care of that. The menus are clear and easy to use. The remote is a nice bonus, especially if you have it mounted high up. I thought I wanted a frame with WiFi, but after using this, sometimes less is more. The simplicity and functionality make it a winner. The flexible stand is a very nice touch.

   I bought this for my in-laws. They don't have much space for conventional photo frames in their house, but they have tons of them. I was looking for something simple to set up because they just understood the logic of USB connection and nothing complex like download app for smart phones would be a good fit for them right now! So I found this frame simple to use with a flash drive filled with nice family photos. Initially, the movement sensor seemed not working, then I realized that I needed to change the time in the settings. The frame quality is impressive. Well done! It's a simple device, with no touch screen, but very nice for someone that it's ok with simple options and not complex settings. I just think it's a little slow to answer the remote control commands. Being patient is necessary to use this frame. It isn't fast like a tablet, but it delivers what promises - as a photo display - for a good price and quality.
