   It was great entertainment for my ten year old nephew and three year old niece staying at the house for a few days. The rat is fast. It can easily freak out a person who isn't expecting it. It goes backwards and forwards. It is somewhat steerable, in that it rotates about 45 degrees when you back it up, so you can kind of head it in the direction you want it to go with a little practice. Going forward, it keeps straight. It excited the dog, who chased it and barked at it. On the fourth day of the visit, the three year old stepped on the remote and rendered the rat functionless. Worth every penny though for the few days of fun they had with it.

   I thought the cat would enjoy this due to his favorite hobby. I was right. The rat remote comes only with forward and reverse however you can change direction by moving back and forth repeatedly. It's pretty quick so he'll watch it intently until it comes to a stop and then strike when the moment is right. I've had it a few weeks and no issues so far. Well worth it!
