   Looks like a great COMPASS but the 1 Amp fuse should be part of the package since it is hard to find it at Automotive stores or Walmart, they start all at 2 Amps. I just installed it on the dashboard of my Larson and used a 3 5/8" Milwaukee hole cutter because a 3 3/4" hole cutter as per the manufacturer's instructions is not easily available in hardware stores. The unit snugged smoothly in the 3 5/8" hole and I secured the compass with stainless steel machine screws and self-locking nuts from the other side to have a secured installation. I haven't yet tried it on the water but I checked it with the compass of my iPhone and it was matching, although a deviation of up to 15 degrees must always be taken in consideration (for both). I give it a 5-star rating and if it leads me to Mexico instead of Alaska, I will update the rating later on 😏. Thanks!

   I angusihed over a bulkhead mout and this flush mount. Tiller steering made it a hard choice. The instrument arrived before time and is all I had hoped for. I will mount it in a removeable box affair between the cockpit seats so it will be on center line, and can be removed for security.This instrument has mag dampers, is adjustable has sun shield. and is lit. Cannot beat the price for this fine instrument.

I've sat it in place where I'm going to mount it and haven't noticed any interference or deviation but I haven't mounted it yet so this could change. Feels like a good quality product. The workmanship and materials seem good.

Had to chisel out a small piece of dashboard, to allow fora screw, but it fits fine and does the job. Have only had it for two boatings, but the GPS unit went out, and we had to reply on the compass. Glad we bought it.
