   These bits come with extra washers so you can dial it in the spacing between the 2 cutters. I ended up using 5 of the 6 washer it came with for a perfect joint. Out of the box, it had 4 washers installed and 2 extra in a bag. With 4 washers, the joint was too tight, so adding that 5th washer was just perfect.Getting a tongue and groove bit to match up is tricky. Take your time, test it out on scrap wood, and you can definitely produce a joint that is nice and snug without spending a ton of money.
