One thing that I noticed is that bike helmets widely range in price from a few dollars to many hundreds. I couldn't justify spending a lot of money, but I also didn't want to skimp on a no name brand because lets face it, I'd like to survive a bike crash. At any rate, many of the other reviewers gave their account of bad accidents in which this helmet saved their lives. That was a huge selling point for me.

I typically have a difficult time finding anything that goes on my head to fit well. When I was looking at this helmet, I used the instructions to measure around my head like it said. I came up right on 22 inches. I decided to go with the youth size and if it didn't fit correctly, just donate it. Well, it fits perfect! The straps were easy to use, and the ratcheting adjuster in the back works great. I trimmed the excess straps off with a pair of scissors and then melted the ends again with a lighter. My wife even said it looks good. I can't wait to try it out on a ride.

One of them is wearing a helmet. So, on to Amazon to choose a bike helmet. Saw this item and bought it. The helmet is comfortable. Sometimes I forget that I even have it on my noggin while I channel my inner Lance Armstrong (minus the EPO) down the bike path. I can't attest about the safety of this because I haven't eaten the asphalt yet. Once I do get into a crash, I'll update this review.

I must say I was quite surprised at how comfortable this helmet is. I like the versatility in the way you can adjust it to fit. Additionally I really like the visor that is attached to the front of the helmet. It works as well as wearing a hat, which I did before I started wearing a helmet. We tried a handful on at the different stores and discovered he needed a big helmet for the roundness of his head. He fits on the smaller setting and his head measure 51.5 cm. I really like the click adjustment to fit snuggly around his head. I can see him wearing this for a few years. I looked at another brand but the helmet was not as quality as this brand. Overall very happy about this product and my son looks so cute in it! Looking forward to seeing him ride his new bike for his birthday!

I have long hair & wear a ponytail for outdoor activities. I am able to pull the ponytail through one of the vents so that it is not bulging & hot inside the helmet- a major plus! Both the straps inside and at the chin are adjustable. And it met the riding test too- I've done a couple of long (about 2 hour) rides and I'm actually happy to wear the helmet. Now, just hoping I never have to actually experience whether its safety features work.

This is a super nice helmet especially for the price. Very comfy and super lightweight. The strap doesnt interfere with my big beard either. helmet stays in place without having to be super tight on your head. So comfy I forget that im wearing it. One issue is the bugs where i live, horseflies and deerflies are super thick this year and they will fly right into the ventilation holes and bite my bald head while im trying to beat them off. If the vent holes had light screen in them it would be a major improvement, but I ride down dirt roads deep in the woods so its only a problem if you ride in my conditions.

I had to crank the adjustment almost all of the way out but I am very happy with this helmet. Light & well ventilated.

Luckily, I did not need to go to the hospital and the helmet saved me from a bad head injury. I fell off of my bike and landed on my back. There are scratches on the helmet on the rear and side (near the temple area). I strongly recommend this helmet for anyone! Unfortunately, I had an accident, but the helmet stood up to the test. Hopefully, none of you will ever need the protection of the helmet, but if you do, it is definitely a solid piece of equipment. It is a necessity for all bike riders - even the casual ones.

He happened to leave it out in the foyer (it normally stays in the garage with his bike) and our Cane Corso Mastiff got a hold of it. She really enjoyed her chew toy and we came home to piles of plastic and styrofoam. So, in case you were wondering, it will not hold up to a mastiff’s separation anxiety style chewing. We did not hold it against the helmet. I ordered the exact same one as a replacement and the dog now wears a basket muzzle when we leave the house. My son is past liking all the flashy helmets he liked as a small kiddo, so this plain but cool looking helmet gets 5 stars for comfort and style.
