   I bought for myself and was so impressed bought more for friends. Now I'm ready to send to more friends. My first concern is that the light is bright and portable. The added benefit is that it can be set up as a night light or always on. Didn't see where it could be set up for motion detection but it could be wrong. A great purchase.

Not a motion sensor, but that's not the feature I was looking for, so don't see why there's a question about that feature in the star rating. Time will tell how long the battery lasts, as we usually lose power at least once a year for at least a day.

   I haven't had a chance to test these during an extended power outage, so I'm not sure exactly how long the internal battery will last (which I believe will recharge when plugged in), but I can say with confidence. It is recommended that it be enough for you to light a few candles (or long enough to get the power back, if the power goes out for a short time). Can be folded conveniently!!!

   These six night lights seem to work best when I plug them into a power outlet so they stay fully charged if you ever have a power outage. So far, I can't seem to get them to stay charged for long when they're not plugged into an outlet. They give off a beautiful light. I've had no power outages to compare them with. I bought them just to be prepared in case of a power outage during a storm. and take it everywhere.

   Our electricity went out last night just before midnight. These lights are turned on by me. It took about 10 seconds for my eyes to adjust, then I was able to see everything in the kitchen, living room, hallway and bathroom. We've been using these for the past few years with no problems. Always as good as a night light, great for power outages.
