In fact, my orthopedic doc told me that gardening was probably the hardest activity I could be doing at my age (and that was in my 60's !). Can't list enough benefits I love about it - light weight, easy storage, helps me get up and down. He is constantly up and down, on his knees, painting, building, etc. He had an old pillow he used to kneel on and when I saw this bench, I thought, this would really help him. HE LOVES IT. He was skeptical at first but has used it all weekend (It was an early Father's Day gift.) but now brags to anyone who stops by what a big help it is to him. The bench helps him to sit and paint, or kneel and the sturdiness helps him get back up.

   I received this kneeler just the other day. I really like this kneeler. I'm close to 69 and my husband is 72. We like to garden. When you get older like we are, it's hard to get back up from a kneeling position without having something to boost you up! This is perfect for that. It came fully assembled. The part you kneel on is not super soft, but it's not uncomfortable either. It seems very sturdy too. You just flip it over to use it as a seat. And the side pouch comes in handy to hold your garden tool. Very nice.
