I read research about how when adults sit in the seats, having feet on the floor versus suspended provides better blood flow and circulation. For kids, when their legs hang, it causes blood pooling and numbness/tingling sensations that bothers them resulting in them kicking or resting their feet on the backs of the seats in front.Since installing this, my son has completely stopped doing it. It's a bit tricky to figure out in terms of installment and the levers to adjust height are a bit finicky but overall great product. I hope it's sturdy and lasts a while because the concept is perfect! I do wish it was in more neutral colors to go with car aesthetics but if I can protect my beige seats from shoe prints, I'll take that as a winMust have esp once child is newly front facing!

We love this footrest. We have the prior model which has been used by our now 5 year old for the past 2 years and it's holding up well (except the little clips that are used to hold the poles in place). But we like this one even better because it now has a support beam from the footrest to the floor and the clips are no longer needed in the new design.Both of our kids (ages almost 3 and 5) are more comfortable using the footrest and no longer complain of foot pain when riding in the car forward facing. We finally realized the pain our son was complaining of was being caused by poor circulation to his dangling feet. Problem solved with the footrest! It also helps (not solves) keep him from putting his feet on the back our seat. We love that it is fully adjustable and has grown with him over the years. Well worth the cost.

I've been creating ways to prop up her legs for the last 3 years until I stumbled upon this! It is super easy to install and adjust the height of. Slid right in around the carseat and provides the support she needs for her feet. I love that it can be tilted so as to move it out of the way without having to remove it from the car! She cannot get in and out of her seat any more now though as it is not sturdy enough to stand on. I don't know how it could be as easy to adjust and tilt and also be more sturdy. Overall we are very pleased and I am so glad to have this!

Even though he's tall for being 6 we had to bring the foot plate almost all the way to the top but it was perfect fit. His shoes sad perfectly on it. Enough that we didn't even worry about his feet dangling for hours which they didn't because of this. Very easy to assemble, i did notice if you have the foot plate all the way down the adjuster bar that it is a little flimsy but for us it had to be all the way up. Which was rock solid, no movement. Doesn't even shake or rattle when i drive without him in the chair.

Received this product and initially thought that it wasn't long enough to fit my car (Cadillac Escalade) I returned the item but the seller reached out to me to let me know that there is an additional button at the bottom to extend the leg. I installed it and extended the bottom leg and fit perfectly. My 3-year-old loves her footrest and she has not been kicking or pushing on the back of the seat anymore. She is more comfortable and calm during car rides. It is made out of plastic but it's sturdy. It's a great product, we highly recommend it and wished we could have found this product sooner.

I found this incredibly easy to put together, easy to install, & easy to adjust. There's actually a point near the top of the stand that you either install above or below, based on child's height. When I installed in the car, I had it above the point when I should've had it below. It was so easy to take apart & fix I didn't even have to fully uninstall it to do.I find the quality to be just fine. Plastic, but thick & sturdy. My son lightly steps on it to get into his car seat. It is not scratching up our leather seats. Most importantly, my son no longer complains about leg discomfort on longer drives.
