I also purchased an electronic H2 tester and this transmitter consistently develops an H2 concentration of more than 1400 ppm in the first cycle after using this device daily for 3-4 months. Repeating the second cycle only adds 100-150 ppm so maybe it's better to just run the second batch and drink more H2 will buy again for this awesomeness

   Out of the box it produced about 1600 ppm and then decreased a bit after the "break in", but then a day later I filled it up to soak/clean with dilute vinegar, thinking maybe mineral buildup Substance on the PEM membrane is an issue and I can get it back up above 1600 ppm. After that, the concentration drops to the 1400ppm region which is still fine, so cleaning the substrate/membrane may not be advisable other than rinsing with warm water and possibly with a drop of soap. very effective and useful for me
