   My 50 lb Goldendoodle loves to say hi, run, chase after squirrels, just about everything, we could not keep him in our yard. we do not have a fence and really do not want a fence but wanted to keep him in the yard. we did the leash that goes in the ground but it was frustrating having to move it if we were in the back or front, plus the leash was tripping the kids playing, etc. then our neighbor informed us of his PetSafe. I would buy this over and over again. it took him running through it and getting shocked ONE time to learn.... we put the flags out at first and he learned he couldn't go past them. It is literally a lifesaver. To not worry every time we take him outside if we are going to have to chase him is reason alone to purchase this. super easy installation. battery lasts forever.

   The neighbors on either side of us have fences and the people behind us said they were thinking about getting one so I didn't want to spend money on fencing in our yard if I didn't need to (the property behind us is a large field.) But when I'd play with my Golden Retriever puppy off leash in the back yard, if she saw someone out front, and even across the street, she would bolt to go see them. Or if she saw a bunny (which are plentiful), she'd dart after them and I worried she would follow them to the busy street if they went that way. I decided to check Amazon out for wireless fences, just to see how much they would cost, and came across this amazing fence! There were a few reviews that made me hesitate but I figured I could try it and if it didn't work return it. Best dog purchase ever! She only had to get zapped once the first time I was showing her the boundaries and she doesn't even go near them anymore (maybe to the front of the trees on the pic and the line is all the way to where the field starts). She doesn't even chase all the bunnies that live in the field if they're at the edge of our yard. We took it camping this summer so people didn't have to trip over a long lead and when I showed her the boundary flags and she heard the beeps, she ran right back towards our tent. I can't speak to any possible inconsistencies with the boundary line since she doesn't push it at all, but I definitely say this is very worthwhile purchase! I've only had to charge the collar maybe once a month too I think.

   This is the first wireless fence we purchased and it will be the only kind we purchase if we have to replace it. I love the fact that this unit is wireless and there are no underground wires or anything like that. We have this unit setting out of sight at the back of our bookcase. We decided to turn the unit around so at night we wouldn't notice the bright blue light that admits from the front of the unit. We live in a small subdivision so traffic isn't usually too bad and for the most part people are very considerate since most of them have dogs and cats to begin with. We set the perimeter up on 45 ft which lets them go up to about 15 feet from the road at our house. Set up was simple and took about 45 minutes to an hour outlining the perimeter with the flags. make sure you are at the dogs neck level when you set up the flags so they will get the correct reading.

   This product is simply great! No buried wires to deal with. Setup was easy. We tinkered with range and placement in the house for an hour until we found the boundary distance we liked. Our dog took to the training quickly and understood the boundary warning beeps within 3-4 days. The freedom this product allows my dog is awesome and the happiness that brings to us is worth the price. My insignificant criticism is that giant blue LED on the front of the base. The base sits in our master bedroom and that LED light is unbelievably bright. No need for a night light that is for sure.

   This product works very well. I spent a lot of time researching different options and this unit came highly recommend by a friend. When I received it, It took me about 3-4 hours over the coarse of 2 days to get it perfect but it works great. The collar comes with two types of probes. If you have a golden retriever size dog, large dog, you will need to removed the probes on the collar and thread on the longer ones that come with the unit.

   This set is a game changer for pet owners! My original house had a fenced in yard so I never had to worry about a system to keep my two dogs safely in the yard. I now live in the country on a small farm and my two hunting dogs would roam the country if they could. I bought two sets of this system because I wanted to be able to give the boys more area to roam and run. Easiest thing to install, you just plug the base in and adjust the settings (we have ours set to high and the furthest length). I have an 8 and 6 year old Brittany spaniel who have never had to wear collars like these before and it took a few hours of training them (as the manual suggests) to get them used to using them. It has been a few months now and they are so used to their boundary that the pet safe system has made for them that even when they don't have the collars on, they WILL NOT go past the boundary. The collars do not need to be set to a high voltage level at all, it delivers quite the static “shock” (not a real shock) to them alerting them to get back within the boundary. The boys are 42 and 45 pounds with fluffy Brittany spaniel hair so we switched the prongs on the collars to the long prongs and they work perfectly. I would highly highly recommend this system to any dog owner. Way less expensive than an in-ground system, much less work and easy to set up. The other thing I love about it is that I can pack it up and take it anywhere as long as I can plug it in. We go camping and take the boys to my parents house quite often and I can easily set them up anywhere. This is a must for anyone wanting to keep their doggies safe in the yard!!

Easy to just unplug and take with you to another location. Just adjust the boundaries and do a quick walk around when you get there.    We bought this for our dogs while we stay at my parents farm. Our Husky is a hunter and we were concerned she would kill the chickens and turkeys on the farm. It was easy to hook up it works perfectly. Both of my dogs have only been zapped twice in three months we've had it. That was in the first week. They don't get anywhere near the boundaries now. It's strong enough that even our big dog doesn't mess with it. Really was a perfect solution for a difficult situation.
