I went back and forth on purchasing this product because the reviews seemed 50/50 on how “fluffy and great” or “flat and disappointing” the product was. But after doing some digging, it seemed most (not all, but most) negative reviews were from people who didn't follow the directions post package removal. The video and directions are very clear that you have to break up the foam and let it sit for a while. So I decided to try it and follow the directions. The attached picture is after about 30-45 min after taking it out of the vacuum seal and breaking up the foam. It is already very fluffy and comfortable to lay on. I am already very happy. Will update in a couple days after fluffing period has commenced and I try to make it a bean bag.

I read the other reviews and followed their advice and WOW! We do NOT need extra stuffing! This is what we did: opened it and broke up the foam pieces and fluffed by hand. Then layed it out flat. Every day we flipped it over and fluffed for 3-4 days. We bought a full size and it measures 10.5 inches thick, AFTER my kids were on it. Meaning it probably fluffs up to 11 inches. My hubs is almost 300 lbs and when he laid on it, he was not touching the ground. Follow the taco method to get it back in easily. 2 kids (under 9 yo) easily fit onto it. We don't have a single negative comment or complaint. It is heavy but that's to be expected.

My brother was a bit uncomfortable on the first night but after fluffing the subsequent nights he said it was more comfortable. This is probably more appropriate for teenagers or only a couple night stay but overall I like the multi-function and if people want to crash at your one bedroom then this is a great space saver!
