   I actually really love this calendar. Of course there isn't much space to write but there's just a good amount for general things. I ordered fine tip dry erase white board markers from two hands so that I could write better and more clear (as you can see the black writing)! It came with everything as described, even an eraser. I think it's a really cute addition to your desk! I'll be moving into my dorm in august and decided this was the best option as it wouldn't take up much room!

   These are a handy size. I bought a few of these to take advantage of unused space over my desk. I use some as white boards and some as magnet boards. They work well as both. They mounted easily. I won't deduct a star, but I will mention that if you take the boards down to write on them (which I don't, I leave them up) then the velcro throws off little tiny bits of black...dust? specks?...so it can get messy, which is why I decided to leave them up and write on them without relocating them each time.

   I ordered this knowing fully that it is empty in the middle. It is not a dry erase board. I have odd size pics of my late dad that I couldn't find frames for. This display is perfect for them because I can use the magnet provided to stick them to the gold frame. I can also use the base as a picture stand. I love this thing but again I knew what I was getting when I ordered it.

   I bought this for my desk at work. When I got it to work I decided to hang in on the wall. It's very light weight even with the wood stand. I used the command velcro strips and put those on the back of the stand. Hung it on the wall. Makes the lights show up even better. I do love this calendar. I just think if I left it on my desk I'd knock it over. Love the look. A little pricey but worth it.

   To be honest, this isn't incredibly practical for a desk. However, it looks beautiful and chic - which is what I wanted. The acrylic magnets that come with it are bulky and tacky in my opinion, and I thought they cheapened the look by making it seem more cluttered. I use some basic mini mighty magnets instead.
