If you've never used it, the tape will be a bit difficult to pull off but not very difficult. She was going through a tough time but can now manage to get the tape out on her own.    Works well, cheap enough that if it breaks I don't feel bad about replacing it. I listen to and collect a lot of cassettes, and I've had about 2 of these in the last 5 years. The film reels sometimes start playing music too quickly but can be remedied fairly easily with a quick lookup in the yt cassette repair section.

It comes in a pretty nice box. In case you want to gift it with your own headphones but I only use my own and the sound quality is pretty good, not clear all the time you have to find the right place, but it's much better than mine think .

   If you are new to rock like me, then this is the perfect choice for you. it is great for the price. another review mentioned how fast it drains the battery, which is true because it basically never turns off (you can switch it to “off” but it still plays lol). so i just take out the battery when not in use, no big deal for me. it's super cute and fun to use.
