   After reading all of the reviews on the different kinds of magnetic tiles, I went with these as a birthday gift for my 3 year old granddaughter. I also purchased the set of two magnetic vehicle bases by the same company to go with it, which I think was an excellent idea, as it gives even more fun play options. They have been a huge hit!! She built the castle in the picture all by herself and her little brother (20 months) likes to play with them almost as much as she does. They are standing up to being walked on, thrown, and, occasionally, even chewed on. We've had them for two weeks now and they're getting a lot of use! Don't hesitate to buy these.    I did some research on this type of toy. I narrowed it down to Playmags and another top rated magnet building toy which I had previously purchased. I find that the Playmags are the best. The magnets are strong and you get many more accessory pieces. My 3 year old grandson picks the picture from the booklet and with a bit of assistance he created the photos shown here. I truly mean a little bit of help. The photos are darn close to the ones in the book. For just turning 3 I think he does a marvelous job.

   These are the first magnet tiles I have purchased for my children. My kids are 4, 5, and 9 and they all enjoyed playing with these. Just plan on buying more sets if you have more than one kid playing with these at a time. The magnets are strong. Upon arrival I did inspect for quality and most of the pieces were made well with the exception of about 9 tiles that the edges would cave when adding pressure. The price was a little steep for my toy budget but overall these are a great set and I would recommend.

   This was a Christmas gift for our 5 year old daughters, and so far, this set has provided hours of fun. Our 1 year old loves to smash, and I can say that these tiles are pretty sturdy. The inspiration booklet included gives some great ideas, though some of the structures would require a couple sets of tiles.We have not owned a name brand set, but I'm thoroughly impressed with this purchase.    This is four sets for the price of two for the other leading brand. My granddaughters have each enjoyed creating with these superior mags since age 2 1/2. They play an hour EVERY DAY abd are still going at ages 4 and 7.This photo is a cat garage with an airport on top and a flower garden attached. They also build bridges around race tracts.    Great toy! You can build all kinds of shapes and structures, and kids as young as 2 years old can start playing. Our nearly 3 year old loves these. He especially loves building different houses, barns, castles to make homes for his toy animals. If you build something too big / heavy without support it will collapse if its roughly handled. This is a good attribute of the toy - learn to be patient and handle the structure carefully, get frustrated when it collapses and that's OK, you can get over it and rebuild.
