This is a great soft book. The colors and illustrations are beautiful. It is pretty big for a soft book, and has many fun flaps. The cover has a velcro flap with a squeaker and then there are three spreads with many flaps on each. The first and third spread have flaps with crinkle material in them. My daughter loved this from about 5-9 months. She doesn't look at it as much now that she is approaching a year old. I would recommend it; it is particularly great in the car when babies are too young for turning the pages of board books.

The front flap has a "squeaker" that I actually removed before our flight - it was easy to rip the seam and then just sew it back up. Other than that, there are a lot of "games" you can play with little ones, asking them to lift the flaps to find different animals and objects. Very happy with this item.
